Prestwood Group Wins Two Communicator Awards of Distinction
News
The Prestwood Group earned two 2024 Communicator Awards of Distinction honors: one for the Achievement Prep Public Charter School website in the School or University category, and another for the DC Public Library Internal Communications Plan in the Employee and Internal Communications category.
CEO Dr. Troy Donte' Prestwood led the projects, with web development by Steven May, Jr. for Achievement Prep and behavioral health expertise from Adrienne Wise for the DC Public Library.

The Prestwood Group is a 2022 recipient of the inaugural Equity Impact Enterprise (EIE) grant. This impactful grant is the first of its kind dedicated to small, resident-owned, disadvantaged businesses in the District.
We want to thank the team at the DC Department of Small & Local Business Development (DSLBD) for supporting DC-based small businesses and keeping more local dollars local.
Prestwood Group Wins Gold VIDDY Award
News
Two videos produced by the Prestwood Group won Viddy Awards for video excellence in the digital world. The "2021 Ward 8 Lifetime Achievement Awards" video presentation won a Gold Viddy Award for Outstanding Short Form Web Video for Public Service/Activism. The organization's Women's History Month video received an honorable mention. The Viddy Awards is an international competition administered by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The Prestwood Group developed the concept and script for the two videos and produced the voice-over and final edit. Prestwood Group's work was selected from more than 2,500 entries from the United States, Canada, and many other countries.
